ABOUT ME

I am an integrative counsellor with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, with distinction, from the University of Salford. I am also in the final year of a 3-year doctoral training in counselling psychology at the University of Roehampton, where I have had further training in person-centred therapy, in addition to training in psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. I have also completed additional training in Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have worked with many people experiencing multiple challenges including anxiety, low mood, physical ill health, bereavement, family and relationship challenges, domestic abuse, sexual violence, eating distress, body dysmorphia, and work difficulties including bullying and harassment. I have experience working with adults and older adults, neurodivergent and neurotypical clients, in multiple settings including private work, and charity and NHS services. I have undertaken specialist training in domestic abuse, bereavement and trauma. I have a wealth of life and work experience, and a background in charity and local authority work, including social services and homelessness. I am a registered member of BACP (no. 384080), and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
