Life can feel difficult for all of us at times. Whatever you're feeling, whether overwhelmed, low or anxious, experiencing relationship or family difficulties, finding work stressful, feeling lonely, have lost someone you love, are facing health challenges or troubled by past experiences, finding the right counsellor can be life-changing. But, I know this can also be daunting, how do you know if a counsellor is right for you? Will they understand what you're going through? Will you feel a connection? Finding a counsellor can feel like a difficult step....but it could also be the beginning of an exciting journey.
From the beginning I offer a safe, warm, caring and non-judgemental space. Through the therapeutic relationship that we develop, I hope to help you connect to your feelings and emotions, gain a deeper understanding of your self and perhaps find greater happiness. But, if at any stage this doesn't feel right, and you want me to suggest another therapist I will be happy to do this, as it's important that you find the therapist and therapeutic approach that works for you.
WHO I WORK WITH
I have experience with adults of all ages, including older adults. I have worked with people who have experienced a range of issues including bereavement and loss, domestic and sexual abuse, post-traumatic stress, ill health and childhood abuse.
